Bob Heubel is a haptic technology evangelist with Immersion Corporation specialising in helping developers implement what is known as force-feedback, tactile-feedback or rumble-feedback effects.

He holds over 70 issued or pending patents in the field of Haptics and has spent more than 16 years working with developers to design tactile sensations into game, media and interaction experiences. You may have felt some of Bob’s work in Rovio’s Angry Birds Friends, Samsung Galaxy phone notifications or Cadillac touchscreens.

Bob graduated from UC Berkeley in 1989 with a BA in English Literature.
