John Parides serves as Director of User Acquisition for Glu Mobile where he leads a talented team to provide profitable installs across Glu’s diverse portfolio. Annually, John oversees the strategic allocation of millions of dollars to drive revenue for titles including MLB Tap Sports Baseball 2017, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, Cooking DASH, Design Home, and Covet Fashion.

Having spent the bulk of his career in games, he brings a strong background in data analysis, creative optimization, player retention tactics, marketing workflow optimization, and cross promotion.

Prior to Glu, John served in various marketing roles at DeNA West, and Greystripe. While at DeNA, he ran a user retention team responsible for cross promotion and game retention, utilizing in-game popups, push notification, and e-mail marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.

When he’s not attracting and retaining players, he’s hanging out with his cats Hobbes, and Chloe, hiking, or working on the website he’s totally going to finish one day.
