Spike Laurie is the Vice President of Global Publisher and Developer Relations at ESL, the world’s largest independent esports company. In his role, Laurie heads publisher relationships and strategy out of ESL’s Los Angeles offices, steering the company’s global approach to crucial partnerships. Previously, Laurie was jointly responsible for the management and leadership of ESL UK and Latin America.
Prior to ESL, Laurie served as International Retention and Engagement Manager at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in the UK.
During his time in the UK, Laurie was Co-Chair of the UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE) trade body’s esports sub group, made up of publishers, team owners and other stakeholders, to consider and promote the UK esports industry.
Laurie was a 2017 Sport Industry NextGen leader and was declared one of the UK games industry’s 100 most influential people by GamesIndustry.biz.
