The PG Connects Network is our new matchmaking and meeting system. It’s the perfect way to find other attendees of PG Connects Digital and arrange to meet them over Zoom.

By default the system possesses many built-in ways to communicate, but if the provided limits aren’t sufficient for your intentions, it is possible to upgrade. No doubt you’ve been directed here by a link from the system because you ran out of either Credits or Opportunities. Here are your upgrade options.

Opportunities

An “Opportunity” is a showcase for what you do – you can upload details of a game you’re working on, a website you run, or a tool you sell. Think of these as examples of your work. By default, everybody can upload two Opportunities. They will be visible in the Digital Expo area of the site, as well as alongside your company page, if the owner of your company page enables it.

What if you want more than two Opportunities? We can add more to the system for you, to a maximum of six. The cost is £25 (exVAT) per additional Opportunity. You will need to pay us directly for that. Please fill in a new partner form and then email our sales operations manager David Ranki <[email protected]> with the subject line PGC Network Opportunities Upgrade to receive an invoice, and then we will get back to you to unlock the additional Opportunities in the system.

Credits

A “Credit” is the amount of meetings you’re able to request. By default, all professional attendees have an unlimited number of Credits, so they can fill their schedule with meetings. There’s no need for them to take any further action.

However, students begin with 0 credits. Free academic passes do not have any meeting Credits within the system as standard (although please note: full attendees may contact students if they need to).

What if you are a student but you really want to fire off a Zoom request to the head of that games studio you’re hoping to work for? In order to get Credits, you can simply pay for a full pass. Please visit our Eventbrite page and purchase one – we suggest you buy an indie developer ticket. Please email our support team if you have any questions about this purchase.
