Most of the time we inherit a team or people from other teams when forming a new team. But how does that work when you start from zero? Assembling teams is often the task of HR and supervisors. Truth is, if you look to build your Dream Team: the one that will create something unique and amazing, the one that lasts in the long run; this is fully the responsibility of the Team Lead.
Then where to start, what to cover, who to get, who to not get? Hiring the wrong people at the initial stage can be costly for both the project and team morale. How to avoid it? As I’m building a small team from the ground for Voodoo in Berlin, I’ll share in my talk how I crafted the recruiting process to cast the Dream Team I envisioned.
