Building a mainstream game requires a significant amount of ingenuity, effort, time, and money. Add blockchain into the mix, and the complexity of aiming for mainstream audiences seems insurmountable with current technology. At Blockade, we’ve spent the past two years researching, testing, and building infrastructure made for producing mainstream games with an uncompromising blockchain backend infrastructure. Benjamin Heidorn will dive into the exact mechanics of what we’ve built at Blockade Games to support our games, how other developers can adopt similar techniques and improve upon them. We will also share how the result stacks up in our flagship title, Neon District, which is slated for release on January 25th, 2020.
