We are witnessing the next evolution of cloud gaming and the inception of compelling, immersive interactive experiences that are driving engagement. With the launch of dedicated cloud platforms like Google Stadia, cloud gaming will continue to expand. Cloud gaming and the collaborative development of gaming using cloud-based tools will continue to evolve, but right now there is no pathway to deliver the same experiences we see in other gaming environments. How does a cloud-only game deliver a Fortnite type moment of 10 million concurrent users when existing technology currently limits us to a few thousand concurrent users in the cloud? Success for cloud gaming is reliant on being able to deliver scale.

During this talk, we will explore how by redefining the challenge and leveraging new advances in cloud technology we can solve the current limitations of scale. With frank conversations about the impact of concurrency and reach to enable amazing experiences, Bruce will be showcasing how distributed computations moving towards more advance composable computations in the cloud can take us a point of unimaginable scale.
