Kalle Vähä-Jaakkola is the Captain and co-founder of Space Nation, one of the world’s leading space experiences companies. In 2017 Space Nation became the first, and so far only, space travel company member to join the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Space Nation recently signed a partnership agreement with NASA, and will launch an app in March 2018, Space Nation Navigator, that gives everyone the chance to learn astronaut skills, and ultimately have a chance to travel to space – for real. With a strong educational background in physics, Kalle has extensive leadership experience and is a leading expert on the NewSpace phenomenon. He is a regular speaker at commercial space industry events around the world.
