Chorus Worldwide

Shin is the founder and CEO of Chorus Worldwide, with overall responsibility for the company’s strategy, with a particular focus on identifying titles for inclusion in Chorus’ publishing activities.

Shin’s career started in 1996, joining UK developer Bullfrog Productions, which had recently been acquired by Electronic Arts. That began a 12-year run at EA, where he performed a variety of roles in both development and publishing, in the UK and Japan. In 2008, Kanaoya joined Microsoft, and took on the role of Head of Business Strategy for Rare Ltd, a wholly-owned studio within MS. In 2011, he transferred to Vancouver, Canada. After leaving Microsoft in 2014, and seeing a need for a route to market for indie developers into the rapidly growing Asian markets, Kanaoya founded Chorus Worldwide.
