Michael is a Business Development Executive at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), with offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Nashville, and Beijing.
As part of CAA’s Business Development group, Blank helps create new lines of business for CAA and services clients across the agency in their pursuit of broader initiatives. He helps guide the agency’s mobile initiatives, primarily focusing on sourcing and managing opportunities for clients in television, film, fashion, lifestyle, music, and sports, among other areas. Blank also helps identify and manage investment opportunities for CAA Ventures, a venture fund managed by CAA, that invests third party capital in consumer technology businesses with high-growth opportunities, and adds value to these companies by providing access to the CAA eco-system.
Previously, Blank was an Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates in its Research Analytics department, where he helped develop Bridgewater’s understanding of the global economic system and how to convert that understanding into systemized investment strategies. After Bridgewater, Blank worked with some of the world’s top social media influencers, identifying monetization and partnership opportunities. Blank joined CAA in 2010.
Blank graduated with honors from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics.
