Stuart is currently the VP of Games and Interactive at Hitcents.com, the award-winning mobile game developer and publisher known for the global franchise, Draw a Stickman. Originally brought into the company by the mind behind Stickman, and taking over where his predecessor left off, Stuart now leads the creative and strategic vision for Hitcents’s games and apps.
Over the past few years he has been focused on redirecting the company towards games and entertainment and has been in the trenches alongside the CEO, President, and CFO to establish meaning relationships with the world’s top companies, entertainment figures, and intellectual property holders.
Stuart rallied for continual support around Draw a Stickman and laid out the vision to expand the franchise which included writing the story and the high level game design for Draw a Stickman: Epic 2.
He brought the Game Department out from under a non-scalable proprietary engine that was hindering growth, expanded the team to support 3D development, and collaborated with Google Play’s engineering team to produce a cross-mobile-platform synchronous SDK that allows iOS and Android users to play together.
In addition to heading the Game Department he recently produced the Hanx Writer in partnership with Tom Hanks, which was named Editors Choice on the App Store in 2014, and dethroned Kim Kardashian: Hollywood as the #1 app for a short time.
Stuart is a father of two young children, a musician, and a deep thinker. He enjoys connecting and collaborating with other creatives, philosophers, and polymaths.
He holds a Masters Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University and graduated valedictorian with top honors. He is originally from Folsom, CA and currently resides in Bowling Green, KY, where Hitcents is headquartered.
