Book your appointment to meet Pocket Gamer journalists
There are a thousand reasons to come to Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco 2024. The networking, the roundtables, the panels and talks, the party. But if you’re a developer working on a game, one of the most valuable benefits of joining other professionals at the leading mobile games conference is the chance to meet the press.
Our editorial team from PocketGamer.com, the longest-running and leading b2c mobile gaming site, will be joining us at the venue, led by Editor-in-Chief Dann Sullivan. If you’re a developer working on a game, this could be your chance to get it on the experts’ radar.
It can be hard to pin a journalist down, even at an event like PG Connects. So we’ve taken some of the randomness out of it with our Journalist Bar. It’s a place to meet a member of the Pocket Gamer consumer team. Dann and his team will have 15-minute appointments available to check out new games. The mornings will be by appointment only, and the afternoons will be for walk-ins.
To avoid disappointment, please nominate a time to come. Then we can ensure there’s a member of the Pocket Gamer team there waiting for you at that time.
If you’re unable to make an appointment for the Monday or Tuesday mornings, the Journalist Bar will be open in the afternoons for people to drop in. Dann and the Pocket Gamer team can’t promise any specific coverage following a meeting, but it’s a great way to get an experienced reviewer to check out your game and perhaps give instant feedback.
PLEASE NOTE: You also need to be registered for Pocket Gamer Connects San Francisco! A Journalist Bar appointment is not a ticket to enter the conference and does not guarantee entry. Appointments are first come, first served, so if you visit that link and there are no available slots… sorry. There will be walk-in time at the show in the afternoons, with Pocket Gamer staff available on our stand as much as possible. You might also want to consider formally entering your indie game into the Very Big Indie Pitch competition: mobile or PC + console editions. Meeting with a journalist or editor does not guarantee coverage.
