Gaming Wearables & Wellness: With wearable devices more commonplace than ever, opportunities and potential for game developers, creatives and marketers are emerging that never existed before.

Video games have never really gotten a great name when it comes to health and wellness but mobile and wearable technology are about to change all that. We are now in a time were technology can enable physical activity to both control and generate gameplay, potentially motivating and influencing positive behavior change. Sitting in your pocket collecting data and rarely leaving your side, mobile devices are the perfect partner for health and wellness games.

Rachel Gawley (AppAttic CEO) will talk though how external data can be used to generate real gameplay and work this back to wearable devices; What the current trends are, how she sees the future developing and why attitudes to mobile games are set to change.

AppAttic develop mobile games for health and wellness, often integrating with wearable devices such as Fitbit and Microsoft Band. They self-publish across all mobile platforms and work with corporations and government agencies. One of their games, MAGE is currently in clinical trial in the UK.
