Linn Søvig has a master’s in media studies and over 10 years of communication experience in a wide variety of industries, however, it was in academia that she discovered her love for video games. Since getting her master’s, Linn has worked tirelessly to raise global awareness for the budding game development industry in Norway, her home country. This work has included co-founding Konsoll, the largest game developers conference in Norway, and GameDev Norway, a resource center for game developers. Her other initiatives have included Girl Geek Bergen, Spillpikene, Code Club Norway and the Game Developers Guild.
