Don’t miss the Rose-Red City, Half as Old as Time…
To make your visit to PG Connects Jordan even more memorable, we’re putting together a day trip to visit one of the wonders of the world: Petra.
The trip takes place the day after the show, Monday November 11th, so plan to be in Jordan for an extra day after Pocket Gamer Connects if you want to enjoy this incredible adventure.
The trip is very much a full day and will embark early (about 8:00am) from the Hilton Dead Sea Resort and Spa, returning in the evening (about 8:45pm). Trust us though it’ll be worth your while!
VIP Petra Trip
Petra is a truly magical site with an incredibly rich history to discover – not just the setting for Indiana Jones! – and is a must-see if you’re in the region. It’s on many people’s bucket lists and rightly so.
The Nabataean capital, with its famous architecture cut into the rock of the gorge, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and retains its magic despite being a popular tourist attraction.

The Pocket Gamer Connects Jordan trip makes visiting Petra incredibly simple. It includes bus travel to the site, on a comfortable bus with wi-fi; a full walking tour of the region with a guide; a late buffet lunch; and refreshments throughout the day.
The trip covers a full day, and will embark early (about 8:00am but full details will be updated soon), returning in the evening about 12 hours later. Trust us, this day-long trip will be worth your while!
The journey from the Dead Sea takes about three hours. Your ticket includes all the travel to and from the historic site, admission to the Petra site, services of a guide, plus basic refreshments. However there will be other opportunities to buy souvenirs, horse and camel rides, and other tourist elements on the day if you’re so inclined.
