BC has one of the most established video gaming industries in Canada, and it includes a large number of established and emerging companies making games for mobile use. Creative BC is the provincial agency responsible for building and promoting BC’s creative sector, and we’ll be speaking about our role supporting the gaming industry including the programs we currently offer to support the growth of BC’s digital and interactive media industry. We will also highlight a few of the mobile games being made by both emerging and leading BC companies including Roadhouse Interactive, Codename Entertainment, A Thinking Ape and Stellar Jay Studios Inc.
