PG Connects introduces new partner event linking games with TV, film, music and other arts

Tuesday, Jan 20, 2026

09:00 – 17:00 | Barbican Centre (5 minutes’ walk from The Brewery)

The global creative industries will converge in January for the first ever UK-based Beyond Games: Transmedia Summit, as 3,000 international creative professionals come to London.

Running alongside PG Connects London, the UK’s largest b2b games industry conference, this one-day event will invite studios such as Warner Bros and BBC, musicians from bands like Therapy?, actors such as Tom McKay, plus hundreds more professionals from creative fields, alongside world-conquering games companies such as Supercell, Rovio, and Ubisoft to share insights, discuss latest trends and techniques, and explore ways to collaborate and do business.

The mission is to establish Beyond Games: Transmedia Summit as a regular feature of the PGC calendar and to position PGC London as the UK’s premier connection point for games and the wider media industries, creating opportunities for collaboration, co-production, and investment across creative sectors.

We feel the opportunities for collaboration, learning, and ultimately business dealings between games and other creative industries are still in their early stages. Which is precisely why we are delivering the Transmedia Summit alongside the UK’s largest b2b games industry event.

Expect talks and panels featuring insights from experts across games, film, TV, and music in a dedicated auditorium within the celebrated Barbican event space.
