Game production has long since moved from the Waterfall system to Agile, but our approach to GDDs (game design documents) has remained largely the same. In my 11 years of game design experience, I’ve tried many different ways of writing design documents for titles big, small, and everything in between. At this talk, I’ll share my methods for maintaining an effective and useful GDD that grows with the project and works for the whole team.
