We’re delighted to bring Pocket Gamer Connects home to the UK in February 2022 for our first live event, and flagship show, in almost two years.
Your safety and comfort are prime concerns for us and we’re putting multiple measures in place to ensure we’re in line with all regulations. We want you to feel at ease at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2022 and to concentrate on making connections, getting business done and enjoying the show.
If you are planning on attending the event from outside of England, please take a moment to read through the information below:
International Travel
Historically, Pocket Gamer Connects has been a truly global event, with attendees traveling to come to our conferences from all over the world. With the current global climate, however, we understand that travel rules can be a little confusing, so here you will find a guide to attending PG Connects London as safely as possible if you’re arriving from outside England.
If you are fully vaccinated:
**These new rules come into effect from 4am, February 11.**
If you qualify as fully vaccinated for travel to England, you:
- will not need to take a COVID-19 test before you travel to England or after you arrive
- will not need to quarantine when you arrive
- will still need to complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England
We recommend that you first check to see if you qualify as fully vaccinated here. See the government website for the most up-to-date travel guidelines.
If you are NOT fully vaccinated:
**These new rules come into effect from 4am, February 11.**
If you do not qualify as fully vaccinated for travel to England, you will need to:
- show proof of a negative COVID-19 test – test to be taken in the 2 days before you travel to England
- book and pay for a COVID-19 PCR test – to be taken after you arrive in England
- complete a passenger locator form before you travel to England
You will need to book the PCR test before you travel.
You will not need to quarantine unless the result of the PCR test is positive.

Cancellation Policy
In the event that the conference is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions outside of our control, or if you cannot attend due to COVID-19 restrictions and let us know in advance, you can defer your ticket to the next available conference at no extra cost or you will be offered a full refund. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Lateral flow tests are available to order direct to your home or office from the NHS website (domestic attendees only). You can also pick up lateral flow tests from various pharmacies across the UK.

No. If you require a lateral flow test please make sure you acquire and test before making your way to the venue.
Lateral flow tests are valid for 48 hours, but we strongly recommend that you test the night before the event for the most up-to-date results.
Masks are not mandatory for entry, but we do encourage all attendees to use good judgement and respect other attendees over the course of the conference.
At the time of writing, UK government regulations require that you wear a mask on public transport so please bear that in mind while travelling to the venue in London.
Any sponsors with an in-person speakership, who have a last- minute cancellation complications, such as, Covid symptoms, travel restrictions due to official lockdowns etc, then we will provide the option to live-stream their speaker slot in real-time during the event – both to the in-person audience and the digital ticket holders. Content will still be recorded and available post-event (post edits).
If you are unable to make it because we have been forced to cancel or postpone the event because of COVID-19 restrictions outside of our control, we will offer you three options :
1/Transfer your pass to a new date if/when the event is rescheduled.
2/ Transfer your pass to a future PG Connects event
3/ You may request a full refund on what you have paid for the pass.
In the event that you cannot attend due to COVID-19 restrictions and let us know in advance, you can defer your ticket to the next available conference at no extra cost or you will be offered a full refund.
