We’re delighted to bring Pocket Gamer Connects home to the UK in February 2022 for our first live event, and flagship show, in almost two years.

Your safety and comfort are prime concerns for us and we’re putting multiple measures in place to ensure we’re in line with all regulations. We want you to feel at ease at Pocket Gamer Connects London 2022 and to concentrate on making connections, getting business done and enjoying the show.

If you are planning on attending the event, please take a moment to read through our coronavirus (COVID-19) health and safety guidelines below:

Pre-event preparation

You may be asked show your NHS COVID Pass before entering the venue. An NHS COVID Pass can be gained through one of the following means:

  • Full Vaccination Status
  • Negative Lateral Flow Test
  • Proof of Natural Immunity

For more information please see the government website on NHS COVID Pass.

For attendees joining us from outside of the UK, we would advise you to take a lateral flow test within 48 hours of attending the event and register your negative result on the NHS website.

The easiest way to display your NHS COVID Pass is through the NHS COVID App, however for those without access to a mobile device, have received vaccination outside of England, or are not registered with a GP, you will be able to present hard copy proof of any official documentation. You can also show a text or email from the NHS as proof of a negative lateral flow test.

On-site safety and best practice

To support COVID-19 health and safety best practice, the venue will be equipped with hand sanitiser stations at regular intervals, we strongly recommend that you use these frequently.

The entire event team, including all volunteers, will be fully tested prior to and during the event.

Whilst masks are not mandatory, we do encourage using good judgement and respect for your fellow attendees. We suggest that you wear a mask while moving around the venue and while sitting in a track room for any length of time, for everybody’s wellbeing and peace of mind. If you feel unwell on the day of the show and are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to the venue.

Reduced capacity

To ensure attendees extra space and good ventilation, we are operating the conference at a reduced capacity to allow attendees the space to distance if they so wish.

Regular cleaning and disinfection

Throughout the event, we will have enhanced cleaning and disinfection in progress with more staff on hand to sanitise surfaces.

Traffic light lanyards

On arrival, you will be able to select a coloured lanyard (either red, yellow or green) which indicates your comfortability with space and social distancing. This traffic light lanyard system will be supported with signage around the conference venue reminding attendees to respect others’ comfort levels.

RED

: 2-metre social distancing preferred, no physical contact.

AMBER

: Happy to be within groups and have conversations but prefer no physical contact.

GREEN
