John is a pioneer of the mobile industry. He has more than 14 years’ experience introducing new mobile products and technology to the market. Having worked for both established market leaders as well as disruptive start-ups in mobile, his knowledge and understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities is vast. For the past seven years, John has been at the centre of new developments in mobile advertising. He created one of the first mobile media agencies, Adeye, introduced near-field mobile advertising with Bluepod and advanced programmatic and high frequency media trading on mobile with Smaato and Trademob. Working for mobile giants Siemens and Vodafone for more than seven years prior to that, John oversaw the introduction of new products and technologies to the market, ensuring cut-through and adoption.
